Challenges and Opportunities

Some of the challenges we face in life may come from illness or a ‘sense of un-wellness’ that appears to impede our personal freedom at a physical, mental or emotional level. For example, at a physical level, if we have an illness, we become aware of the loss of our personal freedom to manage our daily lives with ease. Being unwell at a mental level means we struggle to think clearly, formulate ideas, solve problems and make decisions. At a behavioural level it appears at times that we are caught in repetitive patterns that may
drain our energy. Being unwell at an emotional level means we may find it hard to express our feelings and maintain rewarding relationships.

Given these challenges, a Metamorphic Technique session is appreciated and valued by people who feel isolated, lonely, stuck at a crossroad in their lives or who feel they have potential and creativity that seeks to be fulfilled.

The Metamorphic Technique is a welcome opportunity for everyone to take ‘time out’ from the normal pressures of everyday life. Because it is gentle, non-directive and non-invasive, it is suitable for babies, children of all ages, pregnant mothers, people with learning and physical disabilities, and those who are frail or terminally ill. For these people, and even for those who feel well, the value of receiving a session can sometimes be noticed, almost as if a mask of tension, worry and anxiety has been allowed to slip away. They may experience what it’s like to ‘just be’ what they are, rather than who others think they should be.
